Director Li Yi of our firm was elected as an officer of the Company Law Committee of the National Lawyers Association, and participated in the 2019 plenary meeting of the Company Law Professional Committee of the All-China Lawyers Association and the "Bankruptcy Law Practice Forum" from June 1 to 2.
In order to thoroughly implement the requirement of "the rule of law is the best business environment" put forward by General Secretary Xi and help the bankruptcy system give full play to its positive role in improving the rescue and exit mechanism of socialist market economic entities, the Company Law Professional Committee of the National Lawyers Association, newly established by the former Company Law Professional Committee and the former Bankruptcy and Restructuring Committee, held a plenary meeting of the Company Law Professional Committee and the "Bankruptcy Law Practice Forum" in Hefei, Anhui Province.

The meeting was attended by all members of the Company Law Special Committee of the National Lawyers Association, special guests and other relevant lawyers. The theme of the meeting is "Improving the Bankruptcy Legal System and Optimizing the Business Environment under the Rule of Law", responding to General Secretary Xi's call for "the rule of law is the best business environment", providing the most cutting-edge and in-depth guidance for lawyers, and highlighting the leading, guiding and standardizing role of the Corporate Law Committee of the National Lawyers Association for lawyers across the country in handling bankruptcy business.

Based on a common sense of professional identity and social responsibility, as well as a common goal, the participating lawyers gathered at the plenary meeting of the Company Law Professional Committee of the National Lawyers Association. During the tea break, Director Li Yi took the initiative to communicate with Liu Zhengdong, director of the Corporate Law Committee of the All-China Lawyers Association, chief partner of Shanghai Grand Hyatt Law Firm, vice president of Jilin Lawyers Association, member of the Standing Committee of the Jilin Provincial Committee of Jiusan Society, and founding partner of Jilin Liangzhi Law Firm.
